My son has loved wrestling with the Bruin Wrestling Club! I love seeing him build skills and develop relationships with friends and coaches. He wrestles with the 1st grade group and can’t wait to to practice each day. The coaches stress the importance of sportsmanship and respect while pushing him to reach his potential. This program is amazing!

Wrestling has helped me in multiple ways, especially with my confidence, academics, social skills and work ethic. Before wrestling my grades were pretty terrible I had low confidence and I wasn’t very good at putting in work. But since I’ve joined I’ve become a completely different person. I feel like I was really quiet before and hardly spoke around anyone I didn’t care much for school and I hardly really spoke to very many people at school. But because of wrestling I’ve been able to become confident better at putting work into things and just a better person in general.
Something I feel like our team does better than any other school is helping people feel and be involved.

Wrestling has changed my life in multiple ways, making me want to actually go out and do stuff with others and not just be a lazy kid. I’ve lost quite a bit of weight. I have something that drives me to get out of bed. The only place I feel welcomed and included at school is wrestling, I built friendships. I’m glad I can call the team my family. They are the people I want to be around. They have taught me respect, responsibility, my mentality and my physicality is better. The team has changed me.
One thing Mountain View does that other schools can’t is making the kids feel they are believed in and they are unstoppable by just putting their mind to it.
